You can't tell from the smile but Griffin is sick. On Monday night, he kept waking up crying, which is very unlike him, and we realized he had a lot of congestion that was making it difficult to breastfeed and breath with a pacifier in his mouth. We talked to Heather the nurse in our Dr.'s office in the morning and she said to try saline spray and keep an eye on him for rising fever. At lunch, his fever had gotten higher so I took him in and we received an official diagnosis of an ear infection. Besides the rough night, he really hasn't acted like he felt that bad and has been an excellent baby through the whole thing.
