So, yesterday I had about decided I was only going to make it a week. I was tired of being hungry and I was really tired of feeling deprived. My biggest problem with this diet (or any diet really) is having such a contentious relationship with food. I don't like feeling as if everything I eat is out to get me - "does it have gluten!?!?" "I bet it has sugar!!!" It's difficult to see food as a big sea of things you can't have.
Luckily, Nicholas found these little beauties. That's right - no diary, no eggs, no refined sugar, no gluten cookies! And miracle upon miracle, they actually taste good. They are going a long way towards not making me feel deprived. I'm still just taking it day by day, but I'm feeling hopeful.
