POLL TIME!!!

I've got about 20 free downloads from that new emusic.com website and I'm sending out an APB for music suggestions.

Any CD that you couldn't stop listening to recently? A new artist that you're smitten with? Let me know in the comments!

This is a tough one for me because, as you know, we don't spend money at my house, which means that I don't buy CD's, MP3s, etc. So, when brithday/Christmas comes around, I have to choose wisely which, for me, means stocking up on the essentials. I suggest you make sure to have the following:
- the complete Beatles
- the best of Joni Mitchell
- the best of Carole King
- the Amelie soundtrack
- every soundtrack by Patrick Doyle
- at least one old Cat Stevens album
- some standards (Ella, Billie, Bing, Frank)
- early Elton John
- at least one Willie Nelson album. (yes, I'm serious). I recommend Teatro.

I also really like The Black Keys. They're pretty new, relatively speaking. I would recommend the thickfreakness album. It's great for working out.

I don't know if this is any help at all...

I'm probably not the best person to give music advice because I generally just listen to what's on the radio when I'm stuck in traffic ALL THE TIME. . .

However, I heard the Grey's Anatomy Soundtrack is good.
