One room is our house is complete! Not surprisingly, the room that got the most attention was the nursery. It looks so adorable and I couldn't be happier with it. Of course, a big thank you goes out to my aunt Lana who helped me decorate AND gave us the adorable table and chairs. Another big thanks goes Papa Ron who made the awesome bookshelf based solely on a picture I found on a blog. Thanks to the group effort Griffin has the perfect room :)

Paducah Photo 09

Last week, on a lark, I submitted three photos to Paducah Photo 09, a local photo competition. They have several hundred entrants and usually only pick about 60 photos so I didn't think I'd actually get picked.

But I did! I took this photo in Paris and I'm so excited.

Firsts

Day 20

Griffin had his first real bath on Friday. We used our brand new Puj bathtub, which was awesome! (Thanks McCune's!) He fit in there perfectly and we didn't have to worry about him sliding around or hurting his head. Once the water was on, he seemed to really enjoy it. He didn't even cry when it went over his face. He did cry however we took him out...a lot.

Reason #3840 I'm glad we moved home: My parents watched Griffin for almost 4 hours yesterday morning so we could go on a major shopping expedition baby-free. Needless to say, we got substantially more accomplished without our little tag-along, although we did miss him terribly.
